Dorian Black was born in inner city Melbourne and was orphaned by uncaring parents soon after for fear of his origins. Born with a strange black mark on his chest, which closely resembles a skull and fades as it sees fit and a high light sensitivity, it is rare to see him without dark sunglasses during the daylight hours.
Many ask why he covers his left hand in the two realms of existence and, though few have ever been told the tale, the reason is that he was tortured as a young teenager by a group who believed that, because of his strange afflictions, they thought he was to be the one to bring chaos and destruction to the world and that he may even be the one to bring, what was known to the Christian faith as the apocalypse.
The group, fearing that his hands would do the work of the devil, cut off his left hand and were about to take his right when a Necromancer came to his aide and threw down his torturers. Using his knowledge and dark skills, the Necromancer transferred the soul of a feral beast into the severed hand and, as a reward for its cooperation, offered the beast the flesh. Upon completion of this dark act, the skeletal hand was reattached and the wound sealed and a young Dorian was given full movement of the limb again but at a price. The feral beast would sometimes take control, recreating it’s own former clawed and spiked flesh over the bone and acting as it saw fit.
The Necromancer then took in the child to learn the dark skills for himself. Learning to control his movements, hone his skills and to even control the feral spirit within his hand, although it still takes control from time to time. Dorian was under his master’s tutelage for 12 years until he was killed by a demon. Thankfully, Dorian’s rudimentary skills allowed him to ward off the demon and communicate with the soul of his dead master’s spirit who told him of a spirit weapon, a bladed soul claw gauntlet, given to him by an anonymous source which he intrusted to Dorian to protect himself in the Nifleheim.
After receiving this most important and rare gift, the newly acclaimed Necromancer was able to infuse the soul of his former master into his skull necklace for future guidance then left to find his revenge…
This is a sketch done in a regular black ball point pen for my Abandonment character, Dorian Black, the new Necromancer.

Millions of years from now when alien archeologists are examining the remains of our culture they will look at our magnificant art work and say "Look, the monkey got bored."
Don't think this is just another news article with the usual love deviations that have already hundreds of favorites! All of these deviations don't have even 100 favorites & they're the best!
Please watch them closely and show your appreciation! @
In this article I will provide you some ideas how you can build your own homestudio for considerably cheaper price than it would cost to use "official" studio gear. I will also show you few examples where I have used the gear I describe during this article.
`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More
